Toni is a 20-yr social work veteran, turned energy, and bodyworker who is the owner and operator of Sparrow Medicine, LLC located at Body Kinect Wellness Center in Camden, North Carolina. Toni holds a BSW from Methodist University and also graduated with a master's degree in human services counseling from Liberty University. Toni graduated with a diploma from Cayce/Reilly School of Massage in Virginia Beach and holds a massage license in both NC and VA.

Toni’s focus and passion is orthopedic/medical massage, especially for vets and active-duty military and first responders. She obtained her Medical Massage Practitioner Certification (MMP) from LMT Success School, and has worked as an apprentice under Andrea Fiorillo MMT, LMT, owner and operator of Virginia Medical Massage, and currently practices there twice a week. Toni has also had the opportunity to be mentored by veteran massage therapist and body worker, Tami Richards, and has shadowed Physical Therapist Lynn Crummy while practicing out of her space at Body Kinect.  Additionally, Toni has taken other medical and orthopedic massage classes to further her knowledge and expertise.

 

Toni is a reiki master, a shamanic practitioner, is certified in grief reiki, and holds a certification from ACE as a group fitness instructor and a fitness and wellness certification from © Revelation Wellness. Toni provides various massage and healing modalities including reflexology, reiki, chakra balancing, illuminations, sound therapy, and castor oil packs to name a few.

Toni’s focus is relieving chronic pain and/or grief, providing space for detox and relaxation using the various modalities she is trained in to help one live their best life. Toni also teaches various classes and workshops at Body Kinect.
